This week I round up all the transfers that happened in Spain over the summer. While Barcelona and Real Madrid dominated the spending, the likes of Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia were also busy. There is also a summary of who English Premier League clubs signed and a look at the most expensive purchases in British history.

The 2014 summer transfer window saw unprecedented levels of spending by Premier League clubs, including the British record signing of Angel Di Maria.
