Something strange happened at Mestella on Saturday night. Radamel Falcao failed to score. This hasn't happened often since the Colombian arrived at Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011. Atletico lost 2-0 to Valencia but Falcao has been the main reason for the Madrid club's renaissance in La Liga this season. It seems inevitable, however, that the striker will be sold either in January or, more likely, next summer, as the club looks to balance the books.
